where can I see stock colors?
« on: February 19, 2009, 07:21:07 AM »
Well a blizzard just ended here but I am thinking of spring when I will paint my cb500/4.  Anybody know of a place online or otherwise where I can see different original colors, like paint samples or something?  I have been downloading lots of pictures of bikes and guessing what their colors are.  For example, I can't decide if a pic I have is candy jade green or bacchus olive green.
I'll keep looking at pics online and using educated guesses but it would be really cool to see some of the different but similar colors side by side!
Hmm, maybe an idea for a new website; pics of bikes in stock colors, like a database.

Thanks otto! I was planning to buy one of Don's kits this Spring, but I have been daydreaming about what color I should get.
Thanks for the link USN20!  That's exactly what I was looking for!  A site with examples of the original colors.  This one seems pretty complete too.
Thanks again!

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!
