Have quick petcock question

i have a 74 cb550 and was pulling off the fuel line from the petcock and one of the nipples came out with the line, is this a huge problem. I just tapped it back in with a hammer, is that ok?

It's OK as long as it's not leaking.

They were originally installed under force.

ok good whew. also the speedo cable, is it supposed to run behind the bottom triple tree or in front of it.
