Would that be, for the trip or to be at Daytona? ???

Yeah, weather really stinks down here right now.  Clear sunny skies, lows in the 40s (BRRRR....) and highs in the 60s, warming up by 10 ~ 15 degrees later this week!   ;D

I've got the Jawa engine ready to go, but haven't heard from Lee yet.  I don't have any contact info for him, either.  Yesterday would've been good, but never heard from him.

Stay warm!

 ;D

I'll be down there Saturday...should roll in around 11 am or so. Leaving Whitby at 9am Friday and driving straight through.

Well actually I will be in Kissimmee. Looking forward to thawing out and passing out in the pool!

Hey, Dennis, you'll be about 1.5 hrs south of Daytona.  And, you'll have all but missed Bike Week.

Still, the sun and sand will still be waiting for ya.

Have a good trip!

Yeah I know. Last year I was down there during bike week (without a bike) and couldn't swing the trip up north east. This year we are going to Daytona either way as my nephew wants to try surfing lessons there. I have been to Daytona a few times but everytime I have been there it has been crazy windy and cold so if we can get a good day I will drag the wife and kids along and play in the ocean for a day.

I was supposed to go to Daytona sunday for a daytrip but it rained most of the day.
So I worked on the bikes instead of riding them.

Well, Bill (and John), your Jawa motor is on it's way!

I met up with Lee in Daytona this afternoon and handed off the Jawa motor.  No problems at all.

Lee said something about heading on over to the swap meet to see if it might help pay for his gas....  I think he was kidding...

 ;D

Anyway, good luck with it.  You sure better post some pix of the project as it goes along!

Man, the main drag in front of the track was jumpin' as I drove in and back out.  Can't wait to head up for the day this Saturday.  We got a whole Nielsen clan heading up: me & the mrs. on my FT500, my Dad with my daughter on his Low Rider, my older brother with one of my sons on his 77 CB750K, my brother's father-in-law on his 600 Shadow, my other older brother and his mrs. on their '88 ZX10, their son (my nephew) with my other son on nephew's GPz550, my father-in-law on dad's spare 74 KZ400 and my little sister and her hubby on dad's spare naked GL1100.  Woo Hoo!    ;D

Man Kirk, sounds like you all have your own Caravan going there! Eight motorcycles! :o

                                Take care, Bill ;)

Well, 2 of our caravan pooped out (father-in-law and sister), but we still had a nice day trip Saturday.

Really nice ride up from Orlando on the country back roads, lots of people-watching on main street and even a toe in the ocean.
