Thanks :) I thought about cutting down the cover even more to get closer to the frame rail but I'm afraid you will start to see more of the electronics.
I'll be back this weekend as well. Last weekend was a disaster as I spent most of my time working on my car, & no, it wasn't the Trans Am :(

Where did you get the rear fender (dimensions?) and how did you attach it?  I am working on a 71 bobber and would like to install a rear fender like yours.  Thanks

Make sure you leave at least 1/8 inch clearance or a hair more.....tires expand as speed increases, and the tire will rub on the fender if it is too close!

I mounted it with a pipe clamp.

Just measure what size space you need to fill / cover & look for something close on ebay. When I ordered it I knew it would be close but when it arrived I was blown away at how good it fit right out of the box!
Oh ya.... did I mention it was $19.99 :)

Well, it has been a LONG while but I needed to update this thread.
I wish I had better news with completed pics & a nice video but I don't... :(
I moved last weekend so the bike needed to go. Never got a chance to finish it but sold it anyway. A little sad but reality took control & away she went. It was one less project to stress over & deal with during the move. Have no fear as I will be back. I need to finish my 70 Trans Am then I will start on a cb550 cafe racer. This one will get finished, I promise! Thanks to everyone who followed this thread & supported me with all the encouragement. I really do appreciate it. This site is by far, THE BEST!!!
