Why Can't I Send "okie" A PM? "HAS MOVED ON"
« on: March 22, 2009, 12:05:44 PM »

It says that it can't find him! And I can't find him listed in the members list, but when I look up a PM I had gotten from him a few weeks ago, I can still go to his profile from there and it doesn't show him as a guest! ???

You may just be looking at a cached page that's stored on your computer.  I can't find him in the member's list, either. :-\

Nevermind, I just found a previous post from him and I can see his profile, too.

I can't find any option to turn off PM's completely, just the usual "ignore" list.  Regardless, that doesn't explain why he's not shown on the member's list while his profile is still active.

I looked at his profile and, on the surface, it appears he has deleted his account and the account is awaiting 'approval' of the deletion. I've sent him an eMail outside the forum to verify  if this was his intent.

I Do appreciate that Bob, I had found earlier, that I had his email address and sent him an email also.

                                    Later on, Bill ;)

Well, I just realized that my email to "okie", wasn't completed! ???
Now, I don't know what to think? ??? I (actually, my Dad and I) went to see him a few weeks ago and he's really a nice guy, we had a good time, I loaded up the Super Hawk parts that I was there for and we left. No clue that anything was up, at that time. :-\ Sure hope Bob comes up with something.  :)

He has left the forum. He no longer owns an SOHC4 and is pretty much getting out of motorcycles and moving on to other things.

That's too bad, I am going to miss Larry. I had finally met "One of the Bunch" and now, he's not One of the Bunch"! :-\

Any particular reason he left?
It just seems odd but given the economic issues in some areas and the political discord in the country right now, maybe some of these leavings and fights are being caused by people stress and maybe not solely from words slung around here.

The reasons given are those posted (either above or below depending on sort order you've chosen). He indicated this was a great forum, but he just is not into bikes any longer and moving on to other things.

Wow, thats a bummer. Does anyone here want to part with a set of Mivvs? OR can give me Larry's email address? He was actually the guy that tipped me off to a awesome deal on the Mivv's I own today (well now slightly damaged :( after the hit in run)
