Buddy of mine (nearby) wanted me to copy this one from an ebay listing (his pc was acting up and had problems), as he wanted to copy the bike, (except, he didn't get those finned covers, he just polished up the originals) pretty much. I thought it was worth posting and it IS pretty awesome looking, in MY book. ;)

That IS one COOL ride alright. 8) When I get the chance, I'll take some shots of the one my buddy has, and post them. He has done hisself proud with that one. t was pretty ratty when he got it. He actually traded an SL350K2 Honda (yes Tim, an SL) for it.
That CBX has a fascinating sound to it. ;)

Ah well, back to real life, between taking care of my family, taking care of my Dad (who is doing pretty well) and what ever else that pops up, I'm trying to get to where I can work on my Super Hawk (while having the Jawa 250 AND an SL350 in my sights, to work on as well) ::)

Ah, CBX's! From the front, seeing those six pipes.. just beautiful. From the back, seeing those six carbs, I think, "Oh crap!"  ;D

Where do you get the synch tool for 6 carbs?
Oh man... the gasket kit bill for the carb rebuilds alone makes me never want to sit on one.
Gorgeous bike though.

Yup I probably will get on to that eventually Bill.

I'm stuck cleaning shop at the moment and doing an Annual inspection on an Airplane.

Then comes the frankenbike....which has languished far too long.

Then maybe the CBX....its the back burner at the moment.

Ah, the "Frankenbike". 8) Looking forward to that one. 8) and NOW, you've got me wondering about what path the CBX is gonna take. ??? ;)

Soon as I get going better, on the Super Hawk, I'll be posting photos.
