An SOHC4-er needs a swingarm bolt...
« on: April 10, 2009, 04:47:08 AM »
...one of our Canadian riders is sending me his used-up swingarm for rebuild. I'll need one of the early-style swingarm bolts for him, the ones with 2 grease zerks on them. We (he) can pay for it: he just lives on a little island in the Atlantic where there is no Honda shop nor junkyards to visit, so we need a little scavenger hunt help, here. I've stripped all the local junkyards around here for other SOHC4 rebuilds, already.

Does anyone have one out there? I'd be willing to buy more than one, as others are always sending me their arm for rebuild, too, and I often "convert" them to this 2-zerk model for longer life.

Honda's price on these (if they have to be bought new) is about $26, last time I looked. Price negotiable, but maybe in the $10-$15 offer range?

EDIT: Boy that was dumb of me...  :-[  It's for a 750, needs to be the K0 through K5 style bolt.

I probably could use the 500/550 ones eventually, as I get those arms pretty often, too!

See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

The demons are repulsed when a man does good. Use that.
Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.

I've got a 550 if needed, just pay for shipping.
