yeah, what's up with that? Also, my friends in Greece often tell time in the 'military' fashion. which seems to make more sense when ya think about it.
I agree! There are 24 hours in each day, so each hour should have its own name. Saves the hassle of dealing with am/pm, and there's no more screw-ups with the alarm clock! 
its the "hundred" tacked on that's odd to me... zero hundred

should be zero hour... it isn't a hundred of anything. not even minutes... they only go to sixty so how can it start (or end) on a hundred?
