Judging by the topology, I'd say that should be a great ride!
Is that in the Ozarks?

Kinda hard to do it justice with this tiny pic.  Looks like a very nice loop.

I came through the lower part of that loop last summer while riding a bike from Houston to Alabama (yes, I know it wasn't the shortest way to go ;D) and it was the best part of the trip.  A friend paid for me to fly down and ride the bike back for him as he had recently inherited it.  The front brake on that bike (Yamaha 1500) was having a problem and would not work unless you squeezed the lever hard, after which it tended to lock the front tire.  After a few times experiencing that going into curves, I dropped down a gear and slowed down some.  I found that engine braking into the turns and gassing out of them was more fun than using the brakes anyway.   And I enjoyed the scenery more going a little slower.

Good luck and enjoy the ride.

the loop would be way bigger but the girlfriend is sick and I dont want to be gone the complete day. I will do another loop another day though, from what I hear we have a few great roads here

I think the loop looks more fun when you do a picture of it :)

Ok so I am back safe and sound (barely might I add). Let me speak from experience now, when planning a trip make sure all roads that you plan on using are paved the WHOLE WAY. I went on dirt road for like 4 miles which might I say was not too bad but bumpy as hell. Now what does blow is like the 6 or so miles i had to drive on slag, or gravel to some people. Not only was it slag but it was a massive amount, like 3 inches to 5 inches deep in some spots. Luckly I didnt lose control but it was sloooowwwww going and i stayed on the edge or center or road wherever there was packed dirt. However once I got off that road and got onto Highway 23 here in Arkansas it was soooo nice and after riding on gravel for so long I felt like I had so much control over the bike, like it was glued to the road haha. Here are some pics along the journey.

My bike prolly hates me now after that dirt/gravel road experience, it definitely needs cleaning

Great pictures!  My brothers and I are doing "the Northwoods" (North end of WI in the middle) in a week and a half.  I'll have to take pics as well.

Nice one Andy, looks like an interesting run you had, scenery is very reminicent of New Zealand.
When does that georgeous bike get soem colour? ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

i kind of like the almond color, but i am thinking about doing it green so the dirt doesnt show up so well on it. I WISH I lived in new zealand, to be so lucky. Arkansas is far from that
