I am mystified! Whoever was the PO is a freak! SO when i bought the bike it ran okay. I came to realize it lacked an oil filter and air filter. No big deal... I go to take the carbs apart and clean 'em all up, of course the damn fool stripped every screw on every damn float bowl! No big deal $2.50 later and I've got shiny new screws anyways. I pull off the accelerator pump and the spring is missing? Wow who would need that spring? You've got to be kidding me! Well i got a pic of the spring from a guy on the forums and solved that one. Oh but the fun doesn't stop there. I go to remove the vacuum cylinder caps and the moron left me with only one spring for all four carbs! Here is my problem gentlemen. The local shops can't order the springs, no one online has them(this might be because i can't figure out what to call the damn things!), and ace doesn't have anything like them. I've checked into getting them custom made on-line, i found a few places that say they'll make springs but is this going to cost a fortune? Also i thought I might try to make my own. My final thought is to try junkyards. Any advice?
