Cassandra was in a bike show
« on: May 29, 2009, 12:41:28 PM »
I went on the "Rollin for Hope" poker run that benefits the "Dream Come True" foundation.  After the ride, they had some bike games and a bike show.

The guys kept heckling me until I put Cassandra in the show.  So, here she is along-side real show bikes.

Her first (and only) bike show:

No, we didn't place...  but it was a joy to see her in the show.

Good for you!  You're definitely the winner in that lineup.

Looks like your bike is the only real one there.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Way to go hope, too bad they couldn't really see the quality of your bike though. Definitely deserves a decent mention. 8) ;)

+1 there.  8)

it's gotta be a cool experience just having your ride in a show.

I may not have won the bike show, but the cameras that were at the event got footage of my bike.  Cassandra was on a local biker show "La Rider".  It aired Sunday evening.  They showed me riding up and parking Cassandra in the bike show.

That's too cool. All that hard work and love put into the bike and you even got to share it with others who actually appreciate it. Well done.

You may not have officially placed, but without all the pimping up you had the most individual bike in that lineup. True beauty does not need makeup.

One of my co-workers taped the show so I am getting a copy.  If I can get the film in a format that I can upload, I will upload the part of the show with me riding up on my bike.
