It is funny but I am wondering if it is somehow faked. I would not think the guy would fly that far? Sure one hell of a hangover when he gets up though!

Fake! but funny. Conservation of energy. THose two guys would have had to put as much energy into the elastic band as the elastic band gave out.  Without a mechanical crank adding force...no way.

Together, without mechanical advantage, they couldn't have tossed that guy into the pool, let alone across the fence.

Definitely fake.  But definitely funny as all get out.  And funny for the same reason that the Road Runner cartoon was.  I'll bet that was an Acme rubber band.

Jackass tried something similar. The guy went 10 to 15 feet.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.
