Any CB 350 F with original / restored paintwork?  Could you do me a favour and measure the width of the white and orange stripes on the tank. Are they parallel? (ie could we make a reasonable facsimile with pinstriping tape or by masking?).

I don't know if this will help you or not - the paint and stripes have been redone with gold striping.  As you can see, they are parallel.  The larger inner stipe is 1/4" wide, the outer stripe is 1/8" wide.

Thanks bassman. Yours does look like the right proportions. I want to make mine as near to original as possible but thought (if the stripes are parallel) that I could reproduce the original look with pinstriping tape. Here is a pic I downloaded from somewhere.

The stripes are the other way around.

I tend to agree with you Steve. The ones on the red tank are Honda original though and I want to make my bike as close to that as I can.
