Topic: This is REALLY FUNNY!!!!

So my dad and I went on a fathers day ride today down to Dalton, GA.  We stopped at the Harley dealer (Mountain Creek Harley Davidson) and went in.  My dad has a 2004 Heritage Softail.  The funny thing was that after walking around a little a salesman came up to us and asked if the Honda was mine.  I said yes it is, and he started talking all about how good the SOHC 750 was.  I agreed with him.  But the REALLY FUNNY thing was, my dad has about $15,000 in his Harley and the salesman never even mentioned it!  He was to busy talking about how good of a bike the 750 is.  Another thing that I think is funny is I only have about $500 in my bike   I have had more people make comments about my bike than I can count, which is why I liked it when I saw it.  I can't afford a Harley and don't want a crotch rocket or a Nearly Davidson!  My '78 fits just fine

That's what i like about the older bikes. There really isn't that many nice old rice burners around anymore. So many
were thrashed back in the day. A couple of years ago i rode my 1984 vf1000f interceptor to a local bike and parts
dealer called Chaparral. All the young sales people said they had never seen a 84 vf 1000f !!  I was laughing as i told
them about my turbocharged cb750.  You should of seen their faces when i rode that to their dealership!
