Anybody know where to find it for stock mirrors?   The flat glass is okay, but a bit more never hurts.

Hi tim,

You asked about convex mirrors in another thread; my posting about being smacked by a car while I was sitting still at a red light.  I have not posted follow ups to that thread as of yet.

The mirrors on my CB750 K4, which were stock, were flat mirrors.  On the backside of the mirrors there was a impression in the metal with the Honda Motor Company logo.

I do not recall ever seeing convex mirrors, on these bikes, made by Honda.  Not to rule it out as an impossible thing to obtain; Honda has made so many different models over so many years...... they could be out there somewhere.  I remember rectangular wide view mirrors on some early (1960?) Honda bikes.....

I got a piece of mirror cut to fit the mirror frame, and it was nearly worthless.  They claim that it was not magnifying mirror, but it sure seemed like it.  Any vibration made it worthless...couldn't see anything.  I had it cut at a glass shop.  The next time I went to the salvage yard, I bought a mirror off a bike for $5.

Try a stick on spot mirror. You can get them in various sizes and will stick over your existing mirror. I use the NAPA silver line ones for center caps on my american mags.

You can get replacement mirror glass for cars at many autoparts chains, just get the glass for the passenger mirror with the words 'Objects in mirror are closer...."
and cut or have it cut to fit your stock mirrors.
Cheers.
