why not the dyna 4000?
Sure but that unit has alot of features not needed on the street ie 2 step rev limiter, shift kill etc. It is a nice piece of equipment for sure that can be used with the 2000 crank trigger.

i'm liking the sound of this - seriously contemplating the transition for next Spring...

any sense in checking e-Bay for these or is $120 the best that can be done?

Mike, does the stock spring advancer get replaced when using the 2000?? Hence the need for the 5 different timming curves in the ECU???   Was setting the timming up on your 915 tricky??  I just got my engine on the bench, so I'm a ways off from having to worry about timing, but I'd like to have my game plan figured out first!!!

Yes, the spring advancer goes. Timing wasn't bad. The unit has a built in static timer which makes it easy. The instructions are good also.
