i'm sitting here on the couch, with Hamish next to me, looking right up at me with his big, blue eyes, purring every time i look down and give him a scratch on his little, pointy head. or Gus, on the back of the couch. purring his big ol' melon head off, drooling onto my shoulder as he's known to do when he's relaxed, and i have to wonder. Is there a day set aside during the year when we can pay tribute to the total and unconditional love that our pets give us. whether it be cats (the best lol) or dogs or horses or whatever pet we have. when you think about how much they give us without asking much more than some good, fresh food, nice fresh water and a kind word now and then, Shouldnt they have a special day? like we honor past presidents, leaders of great causes, and things like that?
