1978 CB750K Number 4 Cylinder

Here are the specs. 1978 CB750K new plugs, Points reset, Carbs cleaned, no air leaks, removed 1/2" from plug wires and reinstalled plug caps.

Here is the issue Cylinders 1,2,3 run warm enough that when exhaust pipes are sprayed with water steam is created. Cylinder 4 is warm to the touch but not hot enough to create steam.

I plan to swap plug wires 1 & 4 to determine if there is a noticable difference.

In your opinions will this be a logical diagnostic process?

Yup as they fire at the same time.
