i went for a ride today and i discovered something i'd have never thought of

i went for a ride this morning with a neighbor, i rode his 2005 bonneville t100 as my joe rocket boots are at a saddle makers place getting new soles i decided to ride in my oldish english riding boots. i might have looked silly as hell BUT these were the most comfortable boots i've ridden a motorcycle in. these are basically the same as a motor patrol officers boot, these just have a thinner sole and a spur rest. i wonder how much i'd get laughed at wearing the things ALL the time when i ride my motorcycle.  ??? not sure if i give a flying #$%* either. i also have a pair of the same style boot but lined with polarfleece for cold weather riding. i'm thinking i'm going to keep the boots instead of selling them and ride the motorcycle in them.

ya know, i paid an assload of money for these boots too, i think i am going to wear them regularly when i ride, maybe i'll get a couple of pairs of the breeches motor patrol officers wear too  ;D

Can you put up pics of the boots? I'm always interested in comfortable footwear for riding!

I always wear my boots when I ride the bike; there's nothing more comfortable than a good worn-in pair of real leather western cowboy boots.

I have my dad's cowboy boots from when he was in college. Those suckers are com-fort-able... I should go for a ride with em.

Yeah, them English Knee-highs look a bit "off." But I guess if you cover them with your jeans they look like "normal" boots.

I wear full out race boots with the CB. I picked them cuz they were the most comfortable and weren't hotter then hell as the touring ones were, that would have looks way more normal with the 750. Of coruse I wear my jeans over them and not tucked into the boots like your suppose to with a racing suit.
