Just a quick pic of the progress, i think it's finaly getting there.

What do you think?

Also looking for some new rubber, probably Avons, would like a slightly lower profile than the tyres in the pics! Any ideas, sizes etc? Tyres are marked up 3.00 x 18 and 4.00 x 18 they will be for road use and i would like to get them from Germany,Holland or the UK.

The headlight cowl is also going to be red once i have drilled and mounted my idiot lights in it.

Hey Silver Fox,

Looking very good! Is the bike intended for racing? If so you'd want to look for Heidenau tires or use the Bridgestone BT's.

Hi There Gerald

No, i intend putting this bike on the road over here in Germany, however i am British Forces and therefore don't have to get TUV'd, only BFG'd.

Do you know of any decent places to shop for 400/4 parts and oldtimers etc over here in Germany????

Speak soon
Best Regards

Thanks Bwaller,

I made the seat unit myself because i couldn't find one i was looking for! It's not perfect, but it'll do for now. Just need to find a nice old style small back light to compliment it. My problem was finding one the correct length to allow me to get a number plate on the back without it hitting the rear tyre. I can get one in there now, no problem.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys

Regards
