I do have it...but I never run it...I like to check my oil often. The 78k oil cover uses 3 screws. its really stupid. I dream of putting the old style oil tank on there...maybe one day

Here are a couple more.

I like the reflection of the shock in the brake drum

Close-up of the upper triple

The below pics are 30 minutes after it came off the back of the truck.  WHen ir was purchased, it had a handle bar mounted fairing, a book rack, a trunk and huge set of hiway bars - those came off.  I can't find those pics right now.

Is there a build thread on CCOErika bike?

Hey CaféElite, since there was not a build thread, I hope the before and after pics help a bit.

Thanks! My Buddy who was working at FOOSE at the time painted it. Its real gold-leaf and pin-striping.

kudos for your victory CCOErika! like kb02 said; tough competition here.

all very nice machines and confirmation it doesn't have to be a mega-buck bike to garner admiration.

It's not very often that I don't vote for the winning bike and this one was no exception, I hope the lady rider don't look as beefy as this brute. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Getting back to voting for the winner, Novembers winner will be Kevins Purple Haze. ::) ::)

Please Mr Tipper, accept this as the first nomination for next months BOTM.

Thanks for the congrats on Erika's bike kb02 and Ecosse!  She was very excited when I told her she won.  She is a lucky person, heck, she landed me!  yea ok, not funny.

As Ecosse said, it does not have to be a mega buck bike to garner admiration (example: chrislib).  I have seen that quite a few times in the BOTM's.

Also, plugging the bike seems to make a difference.  Both Erika's and SKTP's bike were plugged the most.  I have noticed that in other BOTM's as well.

When looking at the competition, I knew it would be tough.  Never thought it would win, to tell you the truth.  We were excited to just be nominated but the win is awesome!

Thank you all for your votes for the wifey's bike.  It does make me feel good inside that all the hands on work is appreciated by more than Erika and myself (at least 37 others).  I will ask Erika to come in here and express her gratitude for the win.

that chopper of Juice! is about the best looking honda chop i;ve ever seen i think. i wish i had come into this thread when voting was still going on. i may have to build one something like it one day. as soon as the k4 cafe bike is off the lift, i'm going to start on my own chop in this style. i like it enough that i now have a picture of it as the desktop background on my laptop, badass chop.

TipperT, love the bike. Reminds me of old school cool!

I was curious which handle bars you are using.  I am looking for something similar to yours.

Thanks

They are the generic superbike bars and are available all over the place.  Probably somewhere about $20, it has been a while but I should be close. They have a perty good angle for the hands/wrists.

Thanks for the compliment!
