Very cool wheel for Bobber or Streetracer !!
« on: October 07, 2009, 08:14:17 PM »
Just found out about this today, someone will have to post a pic for me.

I am very interested in building one of these, and getting one out there if someone is interested.

A place called Team III Wheels is making some of the old ET designs.

I always loved the old American 12 spoke 15s and 18s, used to have a set.. but they had a weak point as far as building them as a rear wheel went..
So now I found this, you will have to do the search,
ET Gasser wheels.. a 10 spoke similar to the American 12 spoke.. :o.. but new and stronger for mounting brake and sprockets

15 inch only, in widths of 4.5 inch and 6 inch.. I know that it is not the favorite size of everyone, but a nice meaty tire that you can get bike rubber for.

Best part 275.oo for 6 inch wide.. it will need a similar amount of machining cost and spacers, but that is still quite reasonable IMO

If interested have a look at them, post a pic here if you can, and I would be very interested in doing one up for somebody..

Yessirrrr,
That would look killer with a Sproter on the left side (disc /sprocket combo)

I do have a way tho to mount a disc & sprocket on seperate sides..
