I've searched for an hour or two around on these forums trying for information on the gt550's. Suzuki's 3cyl 2smoker. I'm getting one with a damaged front end and no title for 60 bucks... My plan is to rebuild the motor with some minor work - and put it into my cb550 frame. Now - stock to stock - what motor would you choose for a cafe platform? and why?
I've always wanted a 2smoker to ride on the road - and I've always found it hard to get ahold of any vintage bigger 2smoke motor/bike cheap. I'm all about finding basket cases and fixing them up and this seems to be the perfect deal for me.
Anyone have any input?
