project " LIMEY " no more...got bored now flat black!!!

Well I decided its that time again....for something new.  So off I went to Canadian tire to see what colour spray paint they had and this is the one I decided to try.

LIME GREEN DUPLICOLOUR
I started with the side covers first...I wasn't sure at first but after I did the second cover I kinda liked the look of it.
well its on to the tank...once C-TIRE gets more paint!!!

kind of an out there color, easy on the eyes but noticeable. cant wait to see the tank finished to realize how much is too much if at all

There we go now its green  ;) Like the color. My grandma used to have a 1970 Pontiac Bonneville with a 455 in it back in the day, was that color if I remember correctly. Wish I had it. That thing was fun to ride in.

Thanks for the comments guys good or bad its appreciated.  Here are a few more pics with the side covers and gas cap cover after cleared!! The tank is primed and ready for paint.
Not to bad for a spray can job!!!

well finished the paint today....still have some buffing to do, but have to wait a few days to let the clear to harden up!!

that looks great, it adds a different but nice touch to the bike, especially with the stripes (kinda breaks things up a bit). nice job kudos for thinkin outside the box.

Well I got bored over the holidays....installed my 4 into 1 exhaust and new drag bars, and then decided to change the colour again "flat black". I hope it holds up.

Did you buy the bike the way it is in the first pic?

Glad you ditched the bags and engine guard, and all teh other garbage bolted on.

Get an upholstered cafe seat off of eBay and the bike it good to go!

Paint will be fine until you drip gas on it, at the next fill up. ;D

A cafe seat is the final plan for the bike.....over the next few months.
Oh and yes that was how I bought the bike in the first pic!!!
