valdosta in early march is our plan.  I've winterized the honda and will change the oil and charge the batter for March.  We will be debuting something different with our kawasaki dragbikes.  Steve and I have put hayabusa motors in them.  Bone stock as far as horsepower goes.  I have an 08 motor and I will be hoping to run pro et and super comp with it if all goes well.  I mention it because most people in this section seem very innovative.  I know our idea isn't new but doing it for the first time has it's challenges.

Good luck with the Busa motors Chad, should see you going REAL FAST for a change ;D ;D ;D Have you done it for the reliability factor or just to go that bit quicker? good luck anyway and hoping to see you in March. ;)

reliability is 1 factor.   I was running 9.30s on a kz motor.  I bought a stock 08 motor for less than i paid for the kz.  It will need the oil changed less, will charge itself, start itself, run on pump gas, last longer, and run in the 8's.  I am not a speed junkie, it just makes sense/cents.  fast enough to run super comp also.

Don't be getting to exited now Frankie boy,  ;D ;D ;D It's all in Mikes hands now and has to be fitted in between paying customers work, he has quite a backlog of work or so it seemed when I was there.
I hope you're both keeping well Frank, I've been full of a cold for the last two weeks but have been kept very busy in my new job at work, time is flying by.

Sorry to hear you've been under the weather Sam. Hope you're geting along alright now. I'm ready to see some progress pictures of the 750 auto. I know you guys will get it right but as the saying goes, "fine wine takes time".

All good on this end Sam. Just trying to prep the dragbikes for the start of the race season in March. Have to put a light weight wheel on the front of the wife's Kawi Pro ET bike and brace up the wheelie bars a  bit. After that i'll tear down the top end of the motor for a quick valve job and piston ring replacement. Next will be a new set of wheelie bars for my small tire Kaw  super comp bike- its long overdue. Will also replace my shift drum and shift forks- i think i bent them at Rockingham when i rolled out of the throttle a few times when the bike crossed up on me  due to improper wheelie bar adjustment and excessive flexing.  That 1-2-3 auto tranny didn't take to kindly to the roll out. The old SOHC is sitting in the corner waiting to be petted but she'll just have to wait for the right time. Man i love that bike, she always performs well no matter how long i park it.

Hopefully time won't creep up on us. March is approaching fast.

The head is being worked on by the master and the Block is being bored for the JE 836 pistons by Rick Stetson. Mike found the wireing harness knackered and was shocked to find it was still charging, it all has to be replaced. >:( >:( >:(

I guess you're far enough inland to miss the brunt of the hurricanes, my relatives live in Pascagoula and seem to get the worst of them. It's a nice place to live but expensive and dangerous. >:(
