Hi Billy cowbell, ;D The RC arm took a thicker swing arm pivot bolt than the stock Honda one. It would have meant getting a new bolt made and boring the pivot holes in the frame to suite.
As there were the odd needle roller missing, we opted to have new bushes made instead of the needle rollers and use the stock swingarm spindle. This is now done and the back end has been fitted with struts. We should have some pics in the next few days when Murphy gets his butt into gear. :D :D :D :D
It's looking good Billy ;)

Well that part of the action has moved along nicely. Nice & clean as usual.

How have you make out with the frame part of the build?

Sam is up Billy and got home in one piece ;D ;D There's going to be quite a bit for you to do as we ran out of time before I had to return. I'm not sure how much Mike will be able to do before it comes your way.
Jon Weeks is trying to arrange transport with a rider who will be going down to Valdosta in November.
Failing that, I'll have to arrange to get it shipped the way it went to Mikes. (expensive) :(
Hopefully, Mike will be able to post pics of the bike to give you an Idea of how far we got.
I'll PM you with more details and drop you a line with a drawing of an idea that I have that I'm not sure how to best describe it or post it on line.
Hope Pat and yourself are well, regards,

Sam. ;)

Sam,
Glad you got home ok. I did contact the racer in question. He briefly ran at my home track Sunday. Didn't like the starting line - only got 1.20 60' times. He's not yet decided if he's going. He's got my card. If he's not going, chances are that he knows someone who is going. Will give details when/if my phone rings. Good seeing you here, even if it's not on a race track!

Thank's Jon, It'll be a big help financially if he can manage it, fingers crossed. :D
It was nice seeing you again, and like you said, would have been nicer at a track. ;)
Thank's for all you help and surport in our project.

Hey Sam,

How it going???? Haven't been on in a while. I just happened to see your post on the SEMDRA topic on Dragbike.com inquiring about the series. I came over here to check on the Hondamatic progress. Looking good so far.
