13 degrees this morning in east Tennessee. Seventh straight day with temperatures below freezing. Longest cold snap here since 1942. Stuck at home because steep roads in neighborhood are solid ice and county does not maintain them. Good news? Al Gore and "global warming" crowd looking dumber than ever. Oh sorry, I forgot, it's now called "climate change".

i haven't even tried to start my car this week... but i got my bike to fire-up in the garage. i'm thinking about getting some heavy duty coveralls and a pair of these:

   Today wasn't much better NINE DEGREES w/ a ZERO DEGREE WindChill! Supposed to start warming up now, getting into the 40's in a couple of days and 50's by Wednesday!
