Not sure. Could be this sweatshop in Switzerland. Yeah, I believe it's them. See? They make them four at a time.

Yes they were but I understood that on the un-numbered Yamiya Sandcast pipes, they are made by taking unstamped pipes off the the Sankei production line. I could be wrong though!!

If they could be had reasonably....I bet I could sell a hundred sets. I emailed the guy on ebay who was selling that old rusted and dented set. He said he had 200 watchers and someone gave him a buy it now for 1000.00. He was happy as a pig in mud.

its odd that the pipes are still available for the 550 but not the 350 (other than the 550 was made longer!

DS buys the 500/550 pipes from honda in quantity to get a good price, same with 750. 350 is now available, i believe DS and CMS commissioned a run and both sell them
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

I don't know if original exhausts are still available through Honda. I wouldn't be surprised. Then..., how many of you remember the price Honda then asked?
Actually CMSNL sells a set of 500/550 exhausts for the price it could be had decades ago, be it that price has been indexed for inflation. And David Silver asks even less. So?
BTW, I can strongly recommend the original 4-4 exhaust system. Only a 4 in 2 in 1 could in theory offer a bit of power increase. Such a system is not available. True, it's an investment, but with four that will make it a true Four, your bike will definitely have more value when you sell it. If I compare the expense with the money some are willing to spend on electronic gadgetry... Another advantage is that you have an excellent possibility for diagnosis. As a matter of fact you can finetune the mixture of each carb. At idle you can even listen to each cilinder. And there's the looks ofcourse.
Back then I've even sold my old set for $ 60,-. The new owner reasoned that the headers, that were still spotless, were already worth the price. With my first set I did some 75.000 kms. And the second set is still on (55.000kms). No short rides is the secret. For the rest a little polishing every now and then. Mine are still nice and shiny, but - I must confess - internally, some things are loose. The headers (to where the pipes become wide mufflers) can stay brand new forever by just cleaning them every now and then. Rust on that part is a shame and can easily be avoided. So, even when the mufflers have rotted, you can still have brand new headers left. Maybe not such a bad investment after all...

I think these pipes are still offered through Honda, but not in a complete kit. You would have to order alot of different part #'s to get everything you would need for installation. Not sure what total price for parts would be.DavidSilverSpares offers a complete pipe kit including all hardware needed for $1100 to $1200.Has anyone got this kit for there 750's and if so hows the quality and service?

;D  Prices quoted in UK magazine Motorcycle Mechanics CB750K2 test report dated November 1974: Parts price as follows:

Exhaust pipe each - 24.09GBP + VAT
Front fender 15.52 GBP + VAT
Set of pistons (inc rings) 27.28GBP +VAT

Honda slashed their exhaust prices (at least in the UK) around 1986 and my 400/4 exhaust from memory was about 120 GBP
