Good New James is home now, they let him home about noon. He has to go back tommorow for the stress tests and then friday he has a drs.appointment with our regular family physcian, then we get him into see a cardiologoist as well as a gystro doc. They are gonna be doing a colonsophy as well. They found a 3.5 cm sist on his left kidney. So We will go From there, I'll more updates when the test results come back. Thank You all for Your Prayers it means so much. :-*

Be careful of what you read on the web, a lot of it is old crap and some just crap. You need a top notch Urologist to work through this.

Cool, keep your Doc in the loop. I would feel more comfortable if you saw a specialist a good one. Medicine is so complex and specialized you need and expert, and your family Doc to smooth out the jargon.

always need to keep my doc in loop but will be looking up a specialist for this and see where it leads just trying to make heads or tails of the info i have. I used to be in the medical field as a transplant procurement specialist for a eye bank. had to review medical charts be in the operating room and procure tissue for transplant so i have some knowledge but have found that the more people that look at the info the better the opinion
that is formed and being the one who is sick my input is good to a point but personal feelings may influence my decision so I have my wife and my doctor involved  and some of the input from this board as guidance in what should be done given the information you have and the rest of this great comunity of sohc4 I'm sure I'll get through this

Really good to see James here and getting along. Yesterday, I had stopped in at "Big Al's" for a BBQ for lunch and while I was eating, had a call from James and while I usually don't do phone calls during a meal, when I saw who it was, I made an exception. We had a really nice talk and he does seems to be coming along. Sure was good to hear first hand too! He didn't know where I was, as I didn't tell him. It was just so good to know that he was feeling well enough to, MAKE that call! Can you believe it, he was concerned about my getting the GTX back together! ::) I think HIS situation was a lot more important! ;)

Ok we just got back from the doctors office and they had all the results from the stress tests that they did and it shows a blockage, so on monday i got to take him to the cardiologist in athens. From there we don't know what they are gonna do but from talking with our family doc they are probobly gonna do an angioplasty and after all the work is done to repair his heart he goes in for a colonostophy. that is all i have right now will post more later.

So, when it is all said and done, you'd better watch James, he's liable to be operating like a "Hopped Up" SOHC4! ;)
