I just picked up a couple of these for a clean/easy install.  I have a number of computer parts laying around that might have the same connector type.  If not I can always cut the connector off and hook splice the wires together.

Well I ordered some 80mm rings for my 74 750K and they are too small.  They won't fit around the trip reset gear.  So I am going to try some 90mm rings.
Ha ha.. happened to me too.:
http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=67321.msg824109#msg824109

I did it on my 76 550f

The 80mm interfere with the trip knob.
The 90mm works.. but it slightly off center.

Isn't noticeable from the outside... and doesn't bother me. I am VERY anal, as well.

Ps... I know its off topic, but I did this to my 1986 pickup. Incidentally my only other set of wheels.

Posting because this was a huge help with my project. I used the Joker Machine speedo rings to re seal my assembly. I also wired the lights off of my headlight power sources so they remain off during the day. I went ahead and put a dimmer in just in case - doesn't seem like I'll need it though.
