fairing source?
« on: April 25, 2005, 10:56:34 AM »
Could somebody point me towards some vendors that sell "vintage" styled fairings?  I just need a starting point; I am willing to modify it to fit my needs, so it doesn't need to be bike-specific.  This is what I have in mind:

Any recommendations?

Those are called a half fairings. I would call Airtech http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/  or go to their website. Looked under the classic section. I've been thinking about half fairings too, I've been looking at the ducati style and dunstall style ones.

Good luck, Eddie A

You could also try Steve Spencer at Cafe Scuderia. He makes farings just like that... in fact, he made that one.

get on google and type in "glass from the past". That and some cafe style seats is all they do.
