Damn strange

OK here's the deal ,put a new headlight on the bike ,by the way the bike has a vetter faring.the Light seemed to work just fine with the bike sitting there idling but as you increase rpm's the damn thing dims ??? and a few times it just went out,all the connection in the fairing look good.Any thought of what else might be causing this prob,any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Check all the connections again.  It sounds like vibration is shaking the connections enough to create a sort-of "electrical chop" circuit, causing the duty cycle of the light to become variable (progressively more off than on), and start to dim.
