Keep it up! That seat is gonna be suhweet- makes me want to take mine down to the pan and rebuild it with some sort of cowl to hold the electrics or just as a luggage box. Sorry officer, my seat is stuck-

got her tagged today and went on the first legal ride. still does not have the front fender/brake on and needs chain adjusted/cleaned/lubed but it was nice. put about 3 miles on it. dont wanna go much further without front brakes though...  :o

The seat loks to be coming to shape. What type of covering do you plan on going with?

i'm not sure yet. i first planned on just wrapping in vinyl. but i've been tossing around the idea of leather. not sure. probably just go with the vinyl due to budget and experience level... would like to try some leather work at some point... maybe on the next one..

any suggestions/tips???

I like the way it follows the curve of the fender. I saw in another thread, a guy went to a thrift store and bought an old leather jacket for material. Might be an option for ya.

When I changed my fork seals, the stuff that came out was gray, and stunk. Looks like your coming along nicely.

didn't ride today... lower back is killing from something i did about a month ago... im hoping its not the ride that agrivated it... did find that my clutch cable was routed incorrectly last night. lube and rerouted. now the lever is way smoother... hopefully ride tomorrow depending on weather and how my back feels. will get the side cover from my dads and paint it this weekend

picked up some supplies for the seat work... but spent most of the night figuring out why my left turn signal would not work... ended up being just some connections in the headlamp bucket. anyway, here's what i have to work with in the next couple of days...
