78 550k head torque
« on: May 16, 2010, 12:15:26 pm »
I thought I'd give the head a torque this fine afternoon, read some of the threads a couple of months back. Took out all the screws/bolts from the valve cover, including the ones off the dome, cam chain cover. But it doesn't seem to want to budge. I have not taken off the cam covers at the ends, was going to but they are very stubborn, even with the impact wrench.

Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Thanks Sven,

I just tapped with a wooden mallet, I put it back together, will have to try another day.
