Wierd left hand switch gear ??? Help identify?
« on: May 30, 2010, 10:38:45 AM »
Hey all,

Can you take a look at the following link and let me know what this Honda switch came from or what the extra button is for? It came on my latest project a CB750K with a 9/71 build date.

Thanks in advance,

Bill

Dude! Nice sluething. I like all the comments on the link you sent me. I have decided to use it as a NOS,PES,Warp drive yadda yadda button!.

I have never seen one, I have unplugged my share of beepers but never came across the button.

Thanks!

That is a 1972 CB750 K2 one year only switch. And yes, it is to stop the turn buzzer.

K1s did not have that switch, so somebody borrowed it, or swapped the whole handlebars. K2 is the last year of single fuse wiring with lights off/low/hi on the right side of handlebars. You can use that switch on K0s as well, but nobody will.
