You just won your self a Sam Green Tee shirt Frank.   them there big balls were black and blue the day after as was my right rib cage.   It's very physical in the sidecar Frank.
After I had my first test sesion a few month earlier and found myself lacking in the ability to hold on, I actualy started pumping iron to get myself in shape in case I was called on to do it again.
The call came about 5 weeks later on a borrowed outfit as the gearbox was broke on the big Kawasaki.
It was a twisty hill climb over two days about a mile in length with a lot of fast curves and a few tight corners. I took a real battering and on the monday after, I was that black, I thought my name was Frank.
Here's the on board video, look out for the tyre wall about 20 seconds into the run, we nearly hit it twice

There's probably more life in a stores mannequin Scun If you look hard enough just before  we start, you will see my head move, I'm not dead yet

Sounds like Chadders has still got some issues changing from 2nd to 1st.
If memory serves we changed the final drive in our dirt track GPZ so we didn't have to change down through neutral.
Just a thought.
