I don't really have anything else to add right now, except that she will be there for about 4 days, while they try to dissolve the blood clot.

It 'll be ok Bill. I had 3 in my right leg. Some injections, some coumadin pills for thinning the blood and she will be good to go.  It's good it was found early. Thinking of her and your family.   ;D

Thanks Jon, she's a trooper. She's getting blood thinner and they are going to do some testing tomorrow morning. She'll be in there for around 4 days (give or take). Doctor seemed pretty optimistic. Karla has it in the back of her mind that she could die, like her Mother did. We'll know more tomorrow, after the test are done.

I appreciate your support Jon,  Bill ;)

Mick

Mick, at times, it sure doesn't seem like it. Otherwise, things are starting to come around. Also still fighting the S & S Team for a bit longer, but THAT should be over before too much longer. Gotta keep the Faith. Karla gets some tests this morning and we'll know more. I'll keep you all posted. She was a bit out of sorts from the fact that the last time she was in that ER, was when her Mother passed away and THAT was working on Her mind (and Mine), so I had to WORK to keep Her spirits up cause she was really worried about this (Course I was too, but I had to work ALSO as not to SHOW it). Thanks again for the concern and support,  Bill

You are SO right! A child (no matter what age) being ill, really makes you focus on that one, till you are certain that things are okay again.    Thanks,  Bill

Thank you, it's been quite a trial for us (especially her) to deal with. She had never let on before, but, since her Mother passed away last year, it's been in the back of her mind that she could be next and that kinda came out when she found out about this and the seriousness of it. But, now that a few days have passed since being aware of the clot, she's getting over those thoughts. Of course, the sooner she can get out of the hospital, the better.

Thank you Paul. I figured that you were busy or would have chimed in sooner. No worries guy. She's doing well. She is still having SOME pain with it and I am Praying that this procedure of trying to dissolve it, works.

Thanks Brett, just hoping that that clot gets sorted by Wed or so. The Doctor is saying about midweek or so. It's the "or so" that I am wondering about. When they DO get things sorted out and she is released, it will be GOOD that she won't have that pain to deal with. She has dealt with SO MUCH in her life already.
