Empty ground battery cover cb750k6
« on: September 27, 2010, 08:13:36 PM »
There is a female solid green wire by the turn signal relay. It's right from the red w white recitfier wire and the power wire and the two wires going to the turn signal flashed relay. I know that solid green should be a switched ground but I don't see any place it should attach to in that area unless that flasher relay should have 3 wires instead just the two on there.

Thanks.

That is the phantom green wire. It goes nowhere. They use the same harness on several bikes. Drives everyone nuts at first.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

When you open up the headlight bucket you'll probably find an unused brown wire, too.
