What would you want from Ontario based get togethers

A couple of nice rides, an occational informal meeting place and a sense of comraderie.
A little more organized, a few rides, a rally, an informal meeting place and a sense of comraderie.
Well organized, several regional rides, a couple of group rides , a national ride, informal  meeting places and to feel part of a dedicated group.
Im up for an occational ride and will try to make it to a rally.
I am too busy to commit but will join in whenever possible.

I'm planning to do an oil change this week on the CB350F and then be ready to escort Boner and Dave on their Brit bikes into Mossy.  We should have a good run around one side of Lake Scugog, and maybe those other two will be able to keep up with me. ;)  We plan on camping out for the weekend, so it should be a blast.  My son's going to haul all our stuff in his pick-up, so I can stay real light for the run-in, but Boner and Dave are wanting to stop on the way to pick up some ballast that will keep them cooled and calm during the race week.  There's a concourse show planned by the CVMG and I'm gong to get Boner to shine-up my ride so that I can enter it.  (Meanwhile, I'll keep the girls entertained while Boner is busy polishing. ;D)

Hey Bones, I was gonna ask you what your polishing rate was, but your reply has given me pause.. ;).

Bob, I thought you were the one who told me a lot of the brit bikers will work for scotch? (Or is it Suntory if they're working on a Honda?) ;D

Don't have the Suntory, but the son gave me a bottle of Nikka for my birthday.  Haven't opened it yet, and besides those Northern ......'s usually stick to the ales.

The TSN program 'Motorcycle Experience' is doing a segment on SOHC4's. 8) 8)  They are looking for bikes for the program, and will be at the following locations gathering info, and picking bikes for the show.  I rec'd this list of dates from the Producer.

The “Ice House” Campbellville Guelph Line s/o 401
Sun. Sept 25th, 2011  9am to 11am (Rain Date Sun. Oct. 2, 2011)

Prizes !   Top three bikes will appear on next seasons show!

I be at Sam's (with 400, or hopefully the 550 ::)), and probably the 'Ice House', if the 550 doesn't get to Sam's.  Hope to see lots of SOHC's there.

Haugen's is a bit of a hike, and I just got home after 4 hours of driving.  Still undecided, go to Sam's in the morning, or Bellfountian in the afternoon.  Bellfountain is closer, and the ride over is much nicer (more twisties ;) :)).  Anyone else thinking of going to Bellfountian?

I just got back from Haugen's tonight.  Had to leave early  :( so as not to upset the missus as we have a BBQ planned. :P ;)  So while I now have my scotch as the BBQ heats up for the steaks, I thought I'd report that I've left Brooze72 and Laids over there to pose for the CTV crew who are looking at SOHC-4's.  (Hope my ticket wins a prize for you Bruce! :) )

Nope Bob, had no winning tickets (honest!)

What , scotch & steaks again?  Sounds like you have a winner at home.

I didn't stick around either, once the TSN crew finished shooting the bike I scooted home before the rains to the west rolled in.  Program spot should air March 2012.

Cqyqte, I'm not sure I met you & Deviant last night.  I was on the paved area near the stage, gold 500 beside Bob's blue/black 350.  I saw the two of 750's on the grass, gold & blue, but I thought one belonged to Laids (gold) & the other P_Camps??'s.  What were you guys driving or were those bikes yours & I'm confused?

I was there talking to Hondanut while they were filming Fred's Orange 750 K2 and did a long interview with him. They didn't seem to take any notice of my KO, I guess it wasn't shiny enough  :-[

Funny about Bellfountain. The residents seem to have turned bike-unfriendly. Used to be hundreds of bikes parked on a nice afternoon. Guys and gals standing around talking. The coffee shop did a great business. Now there are signs "No motorcycle parking" and the place is deserted of bikes. Coffee shop will probably go under. I live near there. Never hung out there much cause it was too close to home. But I think if you have memories and visit again, it will be different.

As it looks like the weather will be the same all day, I'm going to go to Bellfountian Swoop.  Not sure if P_Camps wants to join in.  If your planning on coming across King St, we can meet up in Bolton (Timmy's just N on Queen?), head over and take Cataracts down from Caledon; then do the Forks as the return trip.

Would agree cookingdaddy, that the place has become somewhat less bike friendly.  That said, I was over there about a month ago, and the Coffee shop lot was full.  More interested in having a nice ride over & back.  Sam's is basically an arrow straight run, with 1/2 of it 80K 4 lane. :(  Besides this is about showing off our SOHC's, and maybe getting lucky, and having it chossen for the program.  Going to join in??
