What do you think about these valves? '76 750

Not sure, having never done this before. But could y'all weigh in on how these valves look? Are they normal? Pix below are 1&2, 3&4 and just 4 by itself, since it seems to have some oil on it.

If it's worth doing, it's worth doing twice.

If you've got that much oil in just one cylinder it's probably the valve seals rather than the rings.
Other wise they don't look too bad to me.
How many miles on the bike?

No idea how many miles - bought this as a replacement motor for my '76F and it had just been sitting outside under a carport but otherwise uncovered. I'm planning on putting this K top-end on the bottom-end of my F motor and just wondering what all that's going to involve. I was thinking valve seals on that one as well since that cylinder's piston didn't look like it had any blowby or anything. But otherwise, those just look like run-of-the-mill used valves?

One other question - how do you replace valve seals?

Yeah no problem with those valves. Disassemble to remove and inspect the interface between the valve and the head (seat) for deep pitting and burns. Likely they are moderate and will lap out. Do a test, stand the head on its edge with intake ports pointing up. Pour a little solvent, kerosene, or such in each port, wait 5 minutes and see if it leaks thru to the combustion chamber. Flip over and do the other ports. That will tell you how much it leaks. Wire brush the chambers before removing the valves. A few will leak=lower compression.

Do the test again after lapping, should be no leaks= greater compression.

Seals are replaced by removing the springs, slide out the valve, pop the seal off the end of the guide, pop a new one on (literally, they pop) and reassemble. Piece of cake, do them all. Viton seals usually available on eBay. Check for valve to guide sloppiness. Likely their fine.
