new guy from Alberta

Just want to say hi to everyone and what a great site you have. I want to sell my 1980 HD Superglide and buy a CB750. Love simple(which a Shovelhead is) and reliable bikes. I figure a CB750 SOHC is gonna be as close as I'll ever get to that. Enjoy doing a little maintenance just not hours and hours like with the Shovel. Stripped it to the frame a couple years ago for painting but now the tranny is leaking and it isn't just a seal. :( Look forward to learning more about Honda's from you guys. Thanks for having me...Jack.

I second Frank's sentiments. You should be able to get a 750 rather inexpensively then you'll have a spare. Besides my 750 leaked before I took it apart and my Fat Boy has never leaked. If you get any flak about a Harley on here it's just envy  ;)
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Hey guys, didn't think anyone was gonna say anything to me. The guys at the Shovelhead website are just a tad more friendly. ;D I live in Medicine Hat and the big fan is for a compressor where I work. I'm asking a pretty penny for the HD so it may never sell. Definitely not gonna give it away. Looks like I can pick up a 750 for cheaper than the tranny rebuild is gonna cost on the Shovel. Might be good advise to have 2 bikes. Thanks.
