Saying Hi
« on: November 22, 2010, 08:39:26 AM »
Hello everybody,
I just signed up finally, I don't know why I haven't till now, but better late than never :)
Anyway, my name is Pete Rose (I know, don't say it :))
I live in Marin County, just over the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco.
I am 54 going on 15 and have been a Honda guy since I started riding at 14.
I have had just about every street bike Honda has offered since then, most of them bought new.
I now do a lot of restorations on the bikes, mainly 750s 750Fs 900Fs 1100Fs and CBXs and any other CBs that blows up your skirt :)
I am currently restoring 2 CBXs, a KO, a K1, an 81 900F, and an 80 750F.
I ride a CBR1100xx Blackbird which I bought new and will kill anyone who tries to take it away from me  ;D
My wife rides a Suzuki 1200 Bandit (I taught her well) but couldn't get her on a Honda  :'(
Anyway, I think I have gone on long enough.
Maybe check out my website at www.digitalpizza.com if you want to check out my work. I am not trying to advertise my site, just want to share it with you guys, and it has a lot great tips on it for you and its all free.
Thanks and sorry for the long read.
Enjoy
Pete Rose

I just sent him an email through his DigitalPizza site and got a very prompt and informative response to my questions.  It is clear from his website that the work he does is top-notch.

Hey Pete, welcome to the SOHC4 forums. I read about your CBX restore through the posting of your website by our member Magpie. All I can say is WOW! Fantastic job on that '79. Now I'm afeared (yes, I said 'afeared') I'll lay awake at nights, tossing & turning & scheming to get one of those past the wife. I hear what you're saying about the '80 being a better bike in some manners than the '79, but did the '80 come in that red & black paint scheme? That's the clincher for me! I could put up with some lesser qualities as long as it's painted in that red & black! Anyway, again - great job and hope you'll like it around here. ;)

I like my women a little big. Natural. Now, they shave this and wax that. It's not right. I love natural women. Big women. This trend in women has to go. Bulomia, anorexia. That's just wrong. Very impressive man. Love the 750's and the CBX's.. Great work on the restorations... If ever I fall into a big pit of cash, that is what I would love to do also..
