35 years later and still miss my ole K1

Hello to all, Looks like i found a great place for info and parts, after 35 years just found what was a amazing find, 1978 Super Sport 16.999 miles no rust stored 16 years including mouse nest in the air box, 10 days now and have 30+ hrs in cleaning...i must be crazy!! pictured in profile is 35 years ago in So cal my ole K1 as a teenager this was my ride. Edit, forgot the best part $725 dollars ;D

Only 6lb boost 144 hp 127 torque..+ PANIC button LOL!! 50 shot NOS Nitrous Express total 195 hp, 9.8 et Dyno drags @ 137mph. 10 years i am original owner and builder tuner, 7 years blown and daily rider or touring bike. Getting rid of the Car tire! great for 60ft times but turns like a Mack truck, motorcycle tire will last me 3000 miles if i am lucky, gone through 10 in 7 years LOL!!

LOL!! 30 years ago built a Vega, 400 small block, 9' ford 456 gear street grudge car. Still miss the K1, 836- Ported head- Web cam- CDI ign- racing clutch- 15" rear tire- custom seat- Paint by Santini, oil cooler Circle industries matching chain and sprocket, Kerker pipe Muffler? don't need no stinkin Muffler LOL, i was young!...And lane splitting in So Cal on the freeway and still alive, should have been laws preventing teenagers from having a bike like this back then. Just trying to keep up with the 900 sock back then.

When i seen the Vega you posted i almost fell off my chair  :D It is a sickness Power that is..wife has already tried to admit me to the Henry Ford clinic for counseling LOL!! but your right need to slow down a little, I already found a RC 1000cc kit and ported head and 29mm Mikuni's on Craigs list for the 750 SS for $500 bucks including 2 spare motors.....and thought ? I get the temptation every time some little puke pulls up next to me and guns it...but then I just grin and think about what he doesnt have under the hood....and thats funnier than spanking him.I find if  I dont have it I wont use it...make sense??!!?!
