+1 on meeting on the pier/wharf... Coffee booze food and parking all in one easy to find spot. Highway 1 is gonna be closed for up to 6 weeks, so it looks like they are taking the long way. Which in all honesty shouldn't take more the 3 or so hours from slo to sc. Depending on traffic that is. So if they are to leave at 9 am I'm guessing a 2-3 meet up on the wharf. I think I'll be there about 1:30-2, with Greggo and Gemini...

Over.

That's the plan.   Guess I'll take 17 over there.

Gotta fix the headlight on the 550.  Frickin starter switch broke again.  I don't mind doing the kick start.  But, I want a working headlight.
(The 750 still leaks oil on my boot and mark it's spot.)

We meeting at the restaurant or on the pier itself?  I kinda favor the restaurant just cause its a more confined area to look for others within.
We'll be easier to find once we group up.  But, I haven't been to the wharf in so long, I just don't know if that's going to work out.

1:30-2:00 pm

Well, it sounds as tho all of us here like the wharf idea (more or less)

Now we just need to get that info to the guys in SLO.

If anyone talks to Matt or the others tonight then post it here and let everyone know what's up.

I'll try calling him tonight after work - unless someone else hears from him first...

If Hwy 1 is open Matt should be there by now...

I'm wanting to get the schedule up to date.  Did the APE & Willow visits happen today?  And will GZ sleep in SLO tonight?  If anyone can get me actual Zilla Miles between way points (Humboldt to Kingman, Kingman to Rosemond, Rosemond to SLO) that would be GREAT!!
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Just added up all the miles:
Carried Godzilla 223 miles
rode along with Godzilla 90 miles
Rode a total of 588 miles on my bike
rode/drove in support vehicles 1021 miles
Total miles since Saturday= 1609
No wonder I'm tired!
It was GREAT!!!!! What wonderful people I had the pleasure of meeting! Shawn, David, Justin, Kayjohn, Chopper Jim, Ken, and Sean, as well as spouses and friends. Just wish I could have spent more time with Justin and Sean!!!

Stuart,

SOON?! Soon is REAL soon, like in the next day or 2 around the SF area. if you wanna ride with the guys you'd better get at it quick!! Do you have any contact info for the guys? PM me with a phone number and I can get you in touch with the guys asap. I'm not exactly sure of the exact routing or time as I keep an eye on the overall picture and my routing. See if you can go back into this thread and see if something would work for you. The guys would be glad to have you along!!
