Whad ya get fur Christmas?
« on: December 25, 2010, 06:18:46 PM »
You know you have a cool wife when she gets you a Drill set (fractional and numbers) and a Tap & Die set for Christmas.
She also says I can have 5 motorcycles as long as 2 are always for sale.  WOW!!!!

Hope you all had a great Christmas! And all were safe in their travels!

I got a wooden WWI airplane propeller from the girlfriend and it's about 73" long X 6" wide. It's not a real working prop but rather a reproduction for display. Maybe I'll add some vintage manufacturer decals to make it more realistic looking.

A new rain suit.
Froggtoggs outerwear.  2 piece.  Velcro sleeves and ankles.  Built in hood that tucks away for riding.
Pull strings at the bottom of the jacket and under the arm pits to keep things tight.
Very different from anything I have seen before, but it looks good to me.

My wife bought me a, Bosch 12v lithium ion screw gun and impact driver, work cloths, and dress cloths. :o

I was shocked to get the drills, been needing a new set, and like Bosch stuff just never wanted to spend that much. lol I buy Ryobi, and then get mad cause they go dead so quick and don't have enough torque...

I bought myself, HD Valve springs, adjustable cam sprocket, 16" rear rim/spoke kit, and oil pressure gauge.... ;D

From my wife, I got a new Panasonic cordless, wet/dry adjustable hair trimmer.  Now all I need is a mirror for the shower.

From myself, I got a small rc helicopter.  I've been wanting to get into rc helis for a while, and figured a small, relatively inexpensive one would be the best way to start.  The intricacy and scale of this thing is amazing!  That's the power cell next to the penny.
