If Cootshop does carry IT through the Dakotas then we don't have to hit them out from Minneapolis.  That would allow us to head north out of the city towards Warroad which would be  closer than Int. Falls to Jneuf out of Winterpeg. ;D  I can carry it up to Nisswa (just north of Brainerd) to a friends lake cabin (he's a rider has several bikes) maybe further.  Or hand off there to northern MN riders who can take it up to Warroad.  A little R&R at the lake is possible.

We have a winner boys - Regina, SK !!

I suppose you probably know/know of Red and Kate of CycleOne/Design Cycle ex of Regina too. I stopped in about 4 years ago when we took a short ride from Colorado. Guess they are Okies now. I'm still hoping to use Red's services to make that 250 rear soft tail frame for my CB750/1000+ engine once I get my bike back together for the Rally.

Speaking of short rides and rally (intro to the Rally) we'd love to have both you and your lady joining in and representing your fine Province. I know OldScrambler will be glad to see you. He is a super guy and you'll enjoy working with him as the Regional Coordinator. I'll add you and the lady to our rider list. Please shoot me a PM with a little more info than Axehole54.

Good to have you on board. If you know anyone else your way please get them to come onboard also.

Jerry Griffin
Rally Coordinator

Welcome aboard Axehole54..........and a fellow 750K3 rider!  As time permits, I am sure more riders will be found. Offering a place to "overnight" is well appreciated.  I have fond memories of long-ago rides through Saskachewan.......and one ride not-so-fond but it turned out OK after the Mounties got involved.

No problems with Off-Brand escorts..........as long as IT stays on the sohc/4. Its like a tribute thing!

hers is an ex500 if i can get it running decent someone put it together wrong and i gotta figure out the clutch issues.  Not sure if the k3's gonna make it out as i haven't tried to start it since i got it during the winter and its been sitting but if not it'll have to be the k8. Also there is a small bar in my town thats pretty accomodating might be able to do something there

Hi to Old Scrambler,

Just a note to let you know I would be interested in participating. I have a 69 CB 750K. I am situated in Regina Sask. I am fairly flexible this summer. I do know one other fellow with a CB 750 around here. I'm not sure if he is a member so may not be aware as of yet.

Looking Good in Regina........Axehole and Revskid and looking for more.  As we add more riders in all directions the route will become clear. We are thin for Iowa, Nebraska, N & S Dakota, Western Minnesota and Manitoba-Saskatchewan.

Stories later.............

I'm in Sioux Falls, SD.  I wouldn't mind going North to Canada from Omaha.  Let me know if this is an option.

I hope to be able to ride along. My summer schedule is going to be very busy during July & August, but I will be in Sturgis. I should have my cb750 bobber finished by Spring. I'm only 2 hours from Sioux Falls.

I've been out of the loop for awhile here and this sounds like a great idea. My 550 is going through another rebuild and when the weather warms here a little I'm hoping to get back to work on it. Engine rebuild is nearly complete, frame repainted, then I'll have to get the rest of the bike back together but I don't want to rush it like I did a few years back just to get it back on the road.

Welcome Bord0080; winnepeg550guy; R.Hykawy; Killer Canary; and Splitt.............

You guys are filling the holes in the route planner..........which is really yet to be determined because we still need riders in western or northern Minnesota........and more riders to get IT into Montana to hook up with the NW crew.  We have time and at our current rate of growth I know it will happen.  Right now IT is expected to move through our area from mid-July to early August.  The route looks like a big Zig-Zag from north to south as we move IT west.

Besides riding on the roadways, be sure to include photo-stops at local landmarks, state capitol buildings, and especially motorcycle related places.  We will have a blogger contact to keep the news rolling along the way. IT will take a lap at several race-tracks along the way.  We have a goal of moving IT through all of the contiguous states and provinces between March and mid-September.  That's an average of about 2 states or provinces per week. Our group has 7 states and two provinces to cover and I think more miles than any other region.

Keep looking out for overnights and rider assistance to be helpfull to all of our riders.

this opens up some possibilities.  Instead of north out of Minneapolis I could head west on highway 7 or 12 and meet up north of Sioux Falls.  The time frame will be an issue as I will not be available late July-early August.
