i can't tell the op whose bike it is but i can say it does have one cam and four cylinders.
hence: sohc4. i am no expert but i believe it might be a cb550. i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong.

It's a CB550.  They chopped the tail, added a drum front, new wheels.  Not sure what tank that's from though.  Very nice bike.  That's the only pic I've seen of it.  Must be in Europe somewhere, judging by the neighborhood.

There is a seller on eBay who sells the pipes. I would like to know more about that bike. I was deleting photos from my computer and this one caught my eye again. I really like it.

Those are swarbrick pipes.  "The Pepsi Racer" build thread used them on his 750.  Unreal sound, unreal amount of work to make them fit properly tho.

Thanks for the CCC plug, srook, but those 500/550 pipes actually are made by Swarbrick. I'm considering a set for a CB500/650 cafe bike; I understand that they are much easier to fit than the miserable Swarbrick CB750 meggas. The Swarbrick CB750 exhaust can cost as much to fit as the price of the exhaust.    RR

Those aren't Swarbricks.  They are like the ones used on the MV's, and I think Ricky Racer was trying to get some made.

TT, Swarbrick actually does list both silenced and unsilenced curved CB500 meggas on their site. You'll find them noted on http://www.swarbrick-racing.co.uk/prices.html. I assume one would need their CB500 downtubes as well, but beyond that I have no idea of the difficulty of fitment. It has to be easier than the CR750 megga nightmare.

Actually RR, the pipes on my 550 are the Swarbrick 'bent' 500's, and they are just as much a PITA to fit as the 750's.   The 'double bend' Swarbricks are the ones he makes for the twins (350 / 450 / 500).  tt

TT, that's the info I was trying to find. Looks like I'm going to have to look at "home grown" pipes or modded '77-'78 CB550 stockers. After all these years, you'd think a company as experienced as Swarbrick could make an easily fittable product. (sigh) Another area of opportunity!  RR
