1974 CB750 carburetor rubber seals (top cap)

my bad... i goofed up all four of the rubber caps that fit inside the carburetor top of each carb. I KNEW that the carb cleaner would ruin them. but I ASSUMED that they would be included with the NEW carb rebuild kit that I ordered. Well ass-uming is what I got me into this mess. ANYBODY know where a New Mexico Bloke can acquire four of these little boogers?
? what a rookie huh???

As far as I know, you'll have to find a used set of carbs. They aren't available by themselves and new carb tops don't come with them. (voice of experience
)
Are the old ones literally destroyed, or did they just swell up real big? If they are swollen, you might try giving them a few days to dry out and they might shrink back to original size. You could then soak them in glycerin to keep them soft.

Only one out of the four are usable. Maybe Keihin might have them in stock? If not, It's back to ebay. Too bad, I'm so close to starting this engine for the first time.

I believe you are talking about the rubbers that go on the slide caps.I don't know what carb kits you got but the K&L kits I got from Dennis Kirk had those in the kit.You probably don't want to buy another 4 carb kits at $80 just for those 4 pieces.
