Laureen Harper is a biker?

Was cruising the various party websites last night thinking about the upcoming election and I came across this tidbit on the Conservative website http://www.conservative.ca/leader/laureen_harper/:

"In her spare time she enjoys riding her motorcycle, newly purchased this past fall."

Wow! Doesn't say what her ride is. Does anyone know? I suppose that the Mounties give her an escort? Does Steve ride on the back?

Puts a new light on the race!

Schmthaus - Thanks for the link - interesting. Doesn't have our Prime Minister on the back of her bike during the ride though.  Rona Ambrose was there too?

I just Googled "Laureen Harper, motorcycle" and there are lots of hits.

Boner - it seems like all the parties would do almost anything right now for a few votes.  Biker chicks would seem to be a minuscule target?

I take exception to soviet canukistan about the same way the yanks would if we had a news outlet that referred to the states as the christian imperialists. Yes I know that I'm not to mention politics but it still pisses me off.

Agree, the blogger lady at that link is pretty small brained.

There are lots of links about our Prime Minister's wife being a biker. You don't have to read about it there.
