Topic: Which is the better car..Mustang or Camaro

Not much of a debate.  Mustangs and Camaros are chick cars, right there with VeeDub Beetles and PT Cruisers.

Oh man you might be asking for it lol, vw bugs? Classic bugs are the coolest cars ever! Especially modified ones. Now pt cruisers i agree with, although the turbo ones are kinda cool.

Talking more about the new Beetles.  The old ones were chick cars in their day, but you are right, they are a classic car now.  My wife had a '74 Super Beetle when I met her.  I hated that damn thing, constantly had to work on it.  It left her stranded one day in the left lane of I-5 in downtown Seattle during rush hour.  It swallowed a valve and jammed the engine up nicely.  Some crazy stuff on that car.  It used air from the spare tire to run the windshield washer.  But they were 'cute', hence the appeal to females.  The skiers liked them, too.  Not to mention hippies.

hahaha yeah they did use air from the spare. They were good though as long as you checked your oil every time you got gas.

   Yeah, and keep the valves adjusted and a good belt on that generator (which also provided engine cooling with the fan on the back of that generator.

My dad tells me stories of how he used to swap Porsche engines into Bugs, and drag race 'em.  He knew one guy who could pull 60 in first!

He's had a VW/Porsche/Foreign auto shop for almost 40 years now!

Mustang vs Camaro eh?  Depends on the year.  For Mustang, love the notch-back look, so it'd have to be a 65 or 66.  For Camaro, 68 is the BOMB!  A 69 Firebird would be nice too.

But which would I really prefer?  70 Challenger all the way!
